Demo Forum Returns to Wearable Tech Expo

Event offers attendees opportunity to sample the latest in wearable technology

Norwalk, CT – October 24, 2013 – TMC today announced that Wearable Tech Expo will once again host a Demo Forum during the December 10-11, 2013, conference held at the Hilton Los Angeles in Universal City, California. On Tuesday, December 10, companies are invited to participate in the three-hour demo forum, where they will have the opportunity to show off the latest gadgets taking the industry by storm, discuss the current state of the industry and explore the future of wearable technology with conference attendees.

With the main criteria for wearable technology being ease-of-use and hands-on capabilities, the forum offers companies and attendees a unique chance to come together to discover serious tools and next-generation gadgets. Companies from industries including fashion, sports and leisure, enterprise and healthcare are expected to present and demonstrate products and services. Judges will then honor top companies in award categories, including:

  • Best Device
  • Best Application
  • Best Advanced Technology
  • Best in Show
  • Audience Choice

Companies honored at the July 2013 Wearable Tech Expo Demo Forum in New York included leading startups Misfit Wearables, Plantronics, Hz0 and MaxVirtual.

“The Demo Forum gives attendees the chance to learn what these exciting gadgets can do,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC CEO and conference chairman. “From watches to glasses and everything in between, Demo presenters will showcase their innovations for the audience while also providing insight into the tech mechanics, capabilities and overall expectations from the industry in the near future.”

Companies wishing to present a demonstration at Wearable Tech Expo and those interested in exhibiting, sponsorship or advertising packages should contact TMC's Dave Rodriguez at 203-852-6800 x146.
