Vuzix to Talk Smart Glasses and Video Eyewear at Wearable Tech Conference & Expo


Optical wearable tech developer to share industry knowledge at July 23-24 event

Norwalk, CT—May 8, 2014—TMC announced today that Vuzix’s Dan Cui has signed on to provide a keynote at Wearable Tech Conference & Expo, to be held July 23-24, 2014, at the Javits Convention Center in New York City, NY. The leading wearable tech industry event will provide attendees with case studies, demos and unique sessions that uncover the current and future state of the billion dollar wearable tech market. Cui, who serves as vice president of business development for Vuzix, will deliver his keynote on the innovation of smart glasses on Thursday, July 24, at 9:30 am. In his keynote, he will address key issues within the smart glasses market, discuss use models and give insight as to the latest optical technology that will make smart glasses a valuable business tool.

“The cell phone dramatically changed the way we humans communicated and interacted with one another,” says Cui. “We are now seeing the beginnings of a new paradigm shift brought about by the natural progression and evolution of smart phone technology into smart glasses.
