Aaron Salow, CEO of XOEye Technologies, to Participate in Panel at Wearable Tech Expo 2014

Wearable technology is quickly starting to enter the mainstream markets, and this year's Wearable Tech Expo seeks to explore what types of wearable tech are seeing use as well as demonstrate the effectiveness of both existing and upcoming products. The expo takes place July 22 through the 23rd, and will cover topics including eyewear that records and streams HD video as well as other tools and how they can be used within the workplace. One such panel, titled “Wearables at Work,” will include XOEye Technologies CEO Aaron Salow as a guest speaker, who will help discover which enterprise markets are best suited for wearables, and how they will affect business processes.

By the time this article is Published Salow will have already spoken, as his panel is scheduled for 2pm on July 23rd, but the expectation is that his panel will generate a significant amount of buzz. XOEye Technologies produces industrial-grade smart glasses that feature an 8 MP camera, which allows wearers to directly transmit exactly what they're looking at during a given process. This allows for seamless collaboration as instructions can be carried out to the wearer to complete unfamiliar tasks, or to show decision makers a closer eye on what's happening in the field. Aaron Salow will likely include several other useful scenarios where the eyewear can be used effectively.

The panel will also showcase which industries can best benefit from tools like XOEye's smart glasses. First-person video can not only be transmitted, but can also be stored on cloud databases so that others within the industry can go back and look at how processes were completed over the course of several days or weeks, and then use that information to make a decision to see what, if anything, needs to be adjusted.
